Drum lids, tote covers, and OEM appliance reservoirs with thin plastic walls are often in motion — on transport equipment, on wash machines, in mobile service units. The 10-108-SS adds two components to the pop-in switch set for exactly these conditions: the 10-700-SS Slosh Shield for stable switching when the liquid surface is agitated, and the 10-700-WC-NY Liquid-Tight Connector at the receptacle wiring entry for sealed, vibration-resistant cable management.
The pop-in installation is unchanged: the 10-702-R1 receptacle seats into a 1-9/16" (39.67 mm) hole in a plastic wall 0.062" to 0.078" thick, locked by O-ring compression. The liquid-tight connector seals the wiring entry point at the top of the receptacle against moisture and vibration-induced fatigue — important when the container itself may be handled, transported, or installed in a wet environment.
The slosh shield prevents the switch from cycling on wave action in containers that are moved, filled rapidly, or agitated during operation.
Complete set: 10-782 magnetic reed switch, 10-700-CS straight connector, 10-700-SS slosh shield, 10-702-R1 receptacle, 10-700-WC-NY LT connector — all polypropylene. Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70".

A float level switch like the 10-108-SS-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-108-SS-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-108-SS-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.
ERECTA SWITCH offers vertical top-mount, bulkhead, and extended-stem configurations, plus side-mounted single-point models. The mount style is part of the model number — select the configuration that matches your tank geometry.
Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-108-SS-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
