The 10-204 brings two-level monitoring to tanks without threaded ports. The flange nut assembly — one 10-700-FS flange nut with seal and one 10-700-FN flange nut — sandwiches the tank wall through a smooth drilled or punched hole between 1.65" and 2.3" in diameter, maximum wall thickness 0.312" (7.92 mm). No threading, no tapping. The FS and FN pair creates a threaded boss in the hole, sealed with two O-rings, and the 10-700-R2 receptacle mounts above.
The 10-700-R2 receptacle accommodates two independent wiring circuits for the two 10-782 switches. The 10-700-S2 spacer braces the dual-switch stalk assembly for rigidity between the two level positions. The 10-700-WC-NY seals the wiring entry at the receptacle.
Installation note: outside-in assembly with the receptacle and upper flange nut from above. Internal access is required only when seating the bottom flange nut against the underside of the tank wall.
Precision nipple (10-715) ordered separately in 1" increments from 1" to 70". NL = LL − 2.20" (55.9 mm). BD = 1.5" (38.10 mm) minimum between switch levels.

A float level switch like the 10-204-PP is a point-level device: a float rides the liquid and actuates a magnetic reed switch at a set height, giving a simple on/off signal — no power, no firmware, no calibration. "Sensors" usually means continuous measurement (ultrasonic, radar, capacitive). ERECTA SWITCH targets reliable discrete-point control.
The 10-204-PP is used for pump start/stop control, high-level overflow protection, low-level dry-run protection, and tank or reservoir level alarms in OEM equipment. The modular ERECTA SWITCH system is built into laundry, HVAC, water-treatment, hydraulic, and chemical-handling machinery.
Choose the material to match the media: Polypropylene (PP) for general aqueous, acids, and bases; Acetal (AC/Delrin) for solvents, fuels, and hydrocarbons; Kynar PVDF (KR) for aggressive or harsh chemicals. Every ERECTA SWITCH model is offered in all three materials.
The 10-204-PP is point-level — it provides a discrete on/off signal at a set height. For multiple switch points, use a multi-level extended-stem set (2-, 3-, or 4-level) instead of a single continuous sensor.
ERECTA SWITCH offers vertical top-mount, bulkhead, and extended-stem configurations, plus side-mounted single-point models. The mount style is part of the model number — select the configuration that matches your tank geometry.
Point detection is repeatable and mechanical. The trip height on the 10-204-PP is set by the 10-715 Precision Nipple, ordered separately in 1-inch increments (1″–70″), so you place the switch point exactly where the application needs it.
Our engineering team can verify compatibility with your application and chemistry before you order.
